Screen Shots
Want to solve any math problem? Simply enter it in free form and the software will guide
you how to solve it.
You can type in any problem, from a simple operations to complex expressions.
After the problem is entered, the software will start guiding you step by step on how to solve it.
Explanations Popups
During the solution process, the software displays different popups with tips and explanations of what should
be done next and why.
For example, when solving the stage 83+4*72, the software will first display an explanation popup saying that the multiplication operation
should be solved now instead of the addition because it has a higher priority.
The operation in the panel for which the explanation is displayed is emphasized by a yellow background and a frame.
Solving an problem stage by stage
Problems are being solved in stages and displayed in the panel one below
the other, just like a notebook. Once solved (and during the solution) you can scroll through to review
all the problem stages.
Solving an operation
Operations are being solved in a separate panel which is opened at the bottom of the screen.
Operations can be solved by using the columns method and keying in a digit after digit as shown below, or by entering the
whole result at once as shown in the next image.
Entering the operation result at once
By pressing the "Immediate Result" tab on the left side of the panel (pointed by the arrow),
the panel display changes so that we can enter the whole result at once.
Explanations popup when solving an operation
Explanation popups are being displayed when we solve operations at the "Operation Panel",
they explain what should be done now and why in order to calculate the next digit to be entered.
Selecting between operation ways
There are operations that can be solved in more than one way.
For those operations, the software will display a popup where you can select the way you want to work
with, which is usually the way you work with at class, and the software will remember this selection and continue on.
You can always change the selection later in the menu.
Get problems from the software
The software can give you problems to practice with.
Each time you click the "Get a Problem" button at the top left side of the screen, a new
problem will be given and displayed in the panel.
You can also tell the software to give you problems only in certain areas that you want to practice on, this is done
by pressing the "Settings" button underneath the "Get a Problem" button.
Get help when you are stuck and don't know how to continue
The software does not solve the problems by itself, it guides but it is you who solves the
problem and the software helps you when you are stuck.
Whenever you enter an incorrect answer, a "Need Help?" bubble is displayed (see below). By pressing it a window will
appear with help on how to continue.
